Happy New Year! 2022 is here and the future SOUNDS amazing!
Do you have any good new year’s resolutions? This year I plan to grow my kitchen size to give me more space to cook my harvest from my ever growing garden. It may sound ambitious, but I love the challenge, and my neighbors will love the results!
I’m also going to convince more of my friends and family to get their hearing checked, and get hearing aids if they need to. I’m not trying to be a broken record, I just know too well how hearing loss negatively impacts people’s lives.
Dr. Kacy Hooten, our Colorado Springs audiologist, also knows the importance of treating hearing loss and the risks associated with not treating it. She has written a compelling article with a list of 22 persuading reasons why you should get your hearing checked in 2022.
Also this month we welcome a new addition to our team, Dr. Jocelyn Tubbs. I met her at a conference last summer and knew she was something special. The timing aligned when I needed an audiologist and she was looking to expand her horizons. Just a few months later she moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to be part of our team. We are thrilled to have her and know you'll love her too!
"You’ll never get bored when you try something new. There’s really no limit to what you can do." - Dr. Seuss
All of us at Hearing HealthCare Centers wish you lots of happiness in the new year.

Ch'ears'! Whitney Swander, Au.D Owner, Doctor of AudiologyP.S. Our hearts are heavy over the loss of so many homes throughout Louisville and Superior. We’ve been in contact with a couple patients who have lost their homes and many others who’s homes were spared. If you learn of anyone who has lost hearing aids or needs chargers, batteries or other supplies, please send them our way and we’ll help!
P.P.S. It’s a great time for a Cognitive Screening, a Hearing Evaluation or a deep clean on your hearing devices. Give us a call at (303) 558-5811. Or, click the button below to schedule an appointment.
P.P.S. Our article last month about Medicare's plans to cover hearing aids was very popular. Unfortunately, that bill did not pass, so Medicare will not be paying for hearing aids any time soon.
